Better make yourself indispensable before you go asking for more money. I mean you need to be able to tie the company’s profit directly to your contributions. Get the data, show them the proof. Heck, make a power point presentation. But I’ll tell ya what, if you’re there just to collect a paycheck and you are not fully invested emotionally and have your goals aligned with the company or project.m, you’re not going to have any upward mobility.

The web development market is extremely saturated, but the saturation consists mostly of green and quite frankly incompetent programmers who are put into positions of responsibility they have no business being in.

Pretty much every web all companies spew out these days are a complete dumpster fire. Horrible UX bordering on unusable. Failure to test on actual multitudes of devices and just think worthless Jest automated tests are good enough lol.

Very rarely do I see something amazing. Check out ChatGPTs new front end. Not that’s how you build a web app. Door Dash is also amazing.
