I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve been a full stack engineer for over 20 years. The trend towards over complex frameworks and abstraction layer upon abstraction layer is finally beginning to wane. Some of the best apps I’ve ever seen were developed by a single dedicated individual.

You don’t have to be a design genius to build a good looking, functional UI. It’s really only takes common sense and the ability to think like a user.

All of the tasks you mentioned in this article are trivial mundane repetitive things I do on a daily basis. To say that I can’t possibly do them well because my brain can’t handle it it quite frankly insulting! 🤣😂
