I disagree with these premises. I’m not an expert in neuro networks but i have done some research on how these language models work and they do not, in fact, are incapable of creating anything unique. They are nothing more than an aggregator of existing knowledge. So no writers are in danger of losing their jobs to some AI.

Also, there is a growing concern about OpenAI potentially violating intellectual property rights, especially with their image generation algo. I’ve heard of reports of being able to see swirls of artist’s signatures in the derived image. This is not creativity, it’s basically theft by a thousand cuts!
