I feel like a broken record at this point but… LLMs are NEVER going to replace software engineers! Your correlation does of job growth in the dev sector does not indicate any cause. I suspect the cause is over saturation of developers seeking jobs because everyone wants to be a developer. But there is a huge disparity between qualified and competent devs vs hacks. This is why tech companies have to weed through literally thousands of applications.

Any company that would fire their devs and rely on AI to program their apps are doomed to failure and easily predictable code that will be a breeze to hack.
