I totally disagree with with this bases on personal experience. I love my ChatGPT. I’ve been a developer for over 20 years and it has been the greatest tool I’ve ever had. It’s made me a better programmer.

You have to know how to use the AI, that’s the problem. For one, you need to know how properly prompt the AI. You can even write your own simple pseudo code to help explain what you want it to do. Then you have to proofread the code and sometimes send it back through with corrections.

Anyone who uses code directly and blindly that was generated from AI is just stupid.
